As some have noticed, I’m back on LinkedIn. As much as I would like to tell you that “the good guys prevailed” and that logic won in the battle against censorship, unfortunately, to date, that has not been the case. However, the view was that if one side doesn’t have to follow the user agreement they have in place, one can live by the saying “What’s good for the goose…

When I started writing the hottake, the goal wasn’t to build a platform, borrow a platform or even have a brand associated with it. But your career is a River, and just as I learned a lot about myself writing “What the F@&K is Wrong with Everybody Else?”,

I learned a lot about myself writing the #hottakeoftheday. In these last 90 or so days without the discussion, engagement, debate and DMs from the LinkedIn platform, it’s made me reflect about the nature of conversations. You don’t have to agree with every post… or really any post.. and while sometimes I can make a point more flamboyantly than some, the intent is to challenge conventional thought with a counter point. And to me, I thought it was important enough to rebuild a presence on LinkedIn from the ground up.

My ask: if you like the hottakes, go on the LinkedIn platform and reconnect with me. ‘Like’ some posts to mess with the algorithm and spread the word on the platform that I’m back using their preferred tool: “the like button.”

So yes, I am back, but only navigating the gray of their rules, the bloat and delay of ‘fair review’ but the ideal of an open and challenging narrative is worth the effort.

It’s good to be back. I’ve missed the community.
