Found a good spot on the river

This week marked the one year anniversary of the closing of Franklin Mountain Energy’s acquisition of OneEnergy’s Lea county, NM assets. I have been so blessed to work with the team over the past year and I’m excited for the 2020+ drilling campaign.

As for me, it’s time for a pivot. The entrepreneurial journey I’ve been on since 2012 has been incredible. I could never have imagined the course my river would take and for now, I’ve found a nice spot on the bank to take a small break.

The last 12 months saw the passing of my father in law, the diagnosis and ultimately clear prognosis for my mother with breast cancer, and my children are quickly approaching the level of my golf game and obviously, I can’t let them beat me yet.  I have the book to officially publish, the hottakes to unleash, and a whole lot of ideas to explore for “what’s next in o&g”.

What I know for sure is that one- I’m excited, and two- underperforming and overpaid  management teams of public E&Ps are not.
