Justin Bliffen received his B.S. in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an M.B.A from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He has served as a Naval Special Warfare (SEAL) Platoon Commander and Operations Officer, been an Energy Derivatives Trader for Goldman Sachs, a public company CFO and early employee at Triangle Petroleum Corporation, and a Director for RockPile Energy Services.
For the past three plus years, Justin has served as CEO and Founder of Brigade Energy Services, a Turnbridge Capital Partners, private equity-backed company, with a thesis built largely upon consolidating and innovating U.S. well servicing.
Brigade has become the 4th largest of over 200 companies in the sector in just over three years. At Brigade, the mission is to exceed customer expectations on every job by delivering experienced and innovative well service solutions, the highest quality equipment, and personnel steeped in a disciplined team culture. They are committed to safety, integrity, process improvement, measurable performance, and operational excellence.
Dinosaur Decommissioning!
Brigade Energy Services initiated Project Dinosaur Decommission to ensure outdated, previously underinvested, under-spec, and potentially unsafe equipment becomes “extinct” and permanently decommissioned. They believe this is a better outcome for all oilfield stakeholders rather than auctioning or irresponsibly passing liabilities on to others, as has been customary in the workover sector. Brigade is dedicated to innovation, best-in-class performance, and the training and safety of their employees. This initiative will further their mission of continuing to exceed customer expectations by raising the bar on the well servicing sector.
